MicroStrategy Buys Another 21,550 Bitcoins for $2.1 Billion

According to the latest information, MicroStrategy purchased 21,550 Bitcoin (BTC) for $2.1 billion in cash between December 2 and 8.

MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor announced that the company purchased 21,550 BTC worth $2.1 billion. At the same time, he also revealed that the average cost per Bitcoin is around $98,783.

This latest acquisition has delivered impressive returns, with earnings up 43.2% for the quarter and up 68.7% year-to-date.

As of December 8, 2024, MicroStrategy's total Bitcoin holdings reached 423,650 BTC, with an average purchase price of $60,324, equivalent to a total value of approximately $25.6 billion.
