sn't Peaked Yet, 2025 Will Be The Boom Year: Expert Predicts

According to Chapo, CEO of Assure DeFi, Bitcoin's Market-Value-to-Realized-Value (MVRV) could peak at 3.2 this cycle, signaling the uptrend is not over yet.

MVRV measures Bitcoin's valuation based on the ratio of market capitalization to realized capitalization. Currently, the index is at 1.95, indicating that Bitcoin still has room to grow.

Bitcoin is Far From the Peak
Chapo said that whenever Bitcoin approaches a cycle peak, MVRV increases sharply. The last time the index reached 3.2 was in April 2021, when Bitcoin hit $58,253, up 101% from the beginning of that year.

Previously, when Bitcoin reached its all-time high of $109,000 in January 2025, MVRV was only 2.44 . This shows that there is still room for Bitcoin to increase in price.

MVRV Increases – A Profit Signal For Investors
When MVRV increases, it means that many investors are making profits and may start taking profits.

As sellers take profits and new investors enter, the average cost will decrease, creating momentum for prices to continue rising, Chapo explained.

However, some experts are cautious. Julio Moreno, head of research at CryptoQuant, said that Bitcoin may need more time to adjust before continuing its growth.

He pointed out that MVRV is currently below its 365-day moving average, a sign that the market has not fully recovered.

Still, given the current MVRV level and past trends, many experts still believe that Bitcoin has another strong year of growth ahead.
