Phantom Wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet originally created for the Solana ecosystem. It allows users to interact with Solana-compatible decentralized applications (dApps) such as Magic Eden, Raydium,….

Phantom Wallet was founded in 2021 by Brandon Millman, Francesco Agosti, and Chris Kalani. The project reached a valuation of over $1 billion after its Series B funding round in January 2022.
Phantom Wallet is compatible with browsers like Chrome, Brave, Firefox, and Edge, and has apps available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Now, Phantom Wallet has partnered with Polygon to support both Polygon and Ethereum.
How to use Phantom Wallet on computer
1.Download Phantom Wallet 
Step 1: Go to https://phantom.app/download  and select your browser.
Step 2: Follow the steps in the respective extension store to add the Phantom wallet extension to your browser. Once installed, you will see Phantom open in a new tab.
Note: Make sure you install the OFFICIAL browser extension , to stay updated with the latest versions.
2.Set up wallet 
New users:
Step 1: Select “ Create New Wallet ”
Step 2: Create a secure password that you will use to access your new wallet in the future (note: this password will only be used on the current device and browser profile that you installed the wallet on.)
Step 3: Enter your password and select “Continue”

Step 4: You will see your “Secret Recovery Phrase (aka ‘seed phrase)’. Remember to store your Secret Recovery Phrase in a safe and secure location!
Your secret recovery phrase is the MOST important part of your new wallet:
Anyone who has access to your Secret Recovery Phrase will have access to your wallet funds.
If you lose your Secret Recovery Phrase, you will lose access to your wallet and the funds in it.
No one has access to your wallet without the seed phrase including Phantom.
Recovery phrase is the only way to recover your wallet.

Step 5: After saving your wallet password and securing your Secret Recovery Phrase, select“ Continue ”.
Users already have an account:
Step 1: Click on  “I have a wallet”
Step 2: Enter the Secret Recovery Phrase (commonly known as “seed phrase” ) to restore your wallet.
After entering your secret recovery phrase, you will be asked to create a new password to access your wallet in the future.
Step 3: Enter a secure password and select “Continue”.
Access your Browser Wallet
Phantom is located on the top right of the browser toolbar.
Click the pin icon next to Phantom to display it on the extension bar.

How to use Phantom Wallet on mobile phone?
Phantom is available on both iOS and Android devices, allowing access to cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and apps.
Step 1: Go to the homepage (https://phantom.app/download) and choose the version that suits your device (iOS/Android). Click the link on the official page to be directed to the OFFICIAL Phantom app in your app store.
Step 2: Follow the steps to download and install the app on your device.
Step 3: Open the app after installation and follow the instructions to set up a new wallet.

Set up wallet
New users:
Step 1: Select “Create New Wallet” .

Step 2: Enable biometric security on the “Protect your wallet” screen and click “Next”. This secures your wallet using your fingerprint or facial recognition to ensure you are the only one who can access it.

Step 3: Store your Secret Recovery Phrase in a safe and secure location. This is the most important part of your new wallet and it needs to be protected carefully.
Step 4: After saving your wallet password and securing your Secret Recovery Phrase, select “ Continue ” to complete the process.
Users already have an account:
Step 1: Click on “I have a wallet”.
Step 2: Enable biometric authentication (if available).
Step 3: Enter Secret Recovery Phrase to restore your wallet.
Step 4: Click “Get Started” to start using Phantom.

Again, always remember to store your “Secret Recovery Phrase” (also known as Seed Phrase) in a safe and secure location, whether you are creating a new wallet or importing an existing one. It is the only way to get your wallet back.
Note: You can enable notifications to receive instant updates on your wallet activity. This setting can also be customized in Phantom App Settings > Notifications.
